Ok, quick note… Today I learned that “C:\Users\All Users\Desktop\” is deprecated, and therefore inaccessible in Windows 7.

I think I’ve mentioned this before, but Black Hog BBQ in Frederick, MD is so good. It sounds crazy to say “If you want the best BBQ I’ve ever had, go to a place in downtown Frederick, MD,” but thats my honest opinion. Weird, right?

At the risk of becoming a TOTAL fanboy, I’m going to temper this post with the opening statement: I am not a paid advertiser for Level5 games, or Nintendo.

Mail applications seem to have become increasingly popular as a “revolution to the way you work.” I just got an email for Mail Pilot, which promises to allow me the exciting ability to “Experience intuitive email with a simple, task-oriented approach.” That might be awesome, but I’ll never know.

I got just about everything I wanted for Christmas. I am still saving my pennies so that I can buy a DSLR camera (Probably a D5300 or D7100!). I got a Garmin Watch, which, hopefully, will aid me in my marathon training. I plan to run Pittsburgh in May… Here’s hoping.

And it taught me a lesson about being humble.

Today, I opened my RSS reader (still AOL, for the time being, lack of mobile is really going to kill that for me, I fear) and found an article about family traditions from The Art of Manliness. It goes over a bunch of things related to why family traditions are important.

I’m going to have to cede victory to Marsedit for OSX as the best darn blogging tool for the Mac. Windows Live Writer is the best on Windows, hands down, far and away.

I work for a large company (those unaware can ask privately which). As a large company is wont to do, we have a standard, boiler-plate set of interview questions that can, sort-of, accurately get a picture of the person you’re about to interview. I read into résumés, possibly more than I should. I was given the opportunity to craft some interview questions for a possible candidate. Now, this is knowing his alleged background, so, these questions are sometimes thought provoking, and occasionally zingers, intended solely to call out someone on something that I do not believe about someone’s technical ability. Here we go!
